• Dinner at a restaurant - 15%. An especially elegant restaurant - 20%. This is calculated before tax. An easy way to figure it in a state with a 7.5% to 8.5% sales tax is to double the amount of tax.
• Bellman - $1 for each bag that is handled for you but no less than $2 total
• Car Wash - Put $1 in the box that is usually left in a convenient place for that purpose
• Check Room Clerk - $1 per coat or item
• Beautician/Stylist/Manicurist - 15% - 20%
