measuring tools!
There is nothing more essential for cooking than measuring cups.
Measuring cups come in two basic types: •Graded: Graded cups come in different sizes, from 1/4 cup to 1 cup and are usually found in sets of 4 to 6 cups. Use graded cups to measure dry ingredients and solid fats, such as shortening. •Glass: Glass cups also are varied in size. You see 1 cup, 2 cups, and 4 cups most often. Use these cups for measuring liquids.
Hint: It can be frustrating to measure some liquids such as honey and molasses. A great way to make this process a cinch is to spray the inside of the measuring glass with nonstick cooking spray or grease it with a little oil. The liquid will slide out much easier.
