Drop two Alka-Seltzer tablets in a glass vase or jar filled with water to remove stains.
Candle wax on carpet: Place paper towel over the wax and place warm iron over it. The wax will melt to the paper towel.
Red wine spills—Quickly sprinkle salt on it. If the wine is spilled on your carpet, pour lots of salt over the spill and let it sit. The salt will absorb the wine. Vacuum.
