Gardening Day: lower body
Whether maintaining the garden or planting a new one, pulling weeds or raking leaves, you can pay attention to your muscle groups. Instead of bending, do a stationary lunge or a squat. Contract your core muscles while you pull on that rake or hoe. Your garden won’t be the only beautiful benefit of your efforts.
