Is your brown sugar hard? Put it in the microwave (right in the box) for 10 to 30 seconds depending on how much is in the box.

Honey thick and sugary? Put it in the microwave for a few seconds.

Microwave your lemons for 10 seconds, then roll them between your palms before squeezing. You’ll get more juice.

Leftover wine? Don’t throw it away. Freeze into ice cubes for future use in cooking.

When you fry bacon, go ahead and fry the whole pound or more. Then store it in a zip lock bag in layers between waxed paper. Refrigerate. Next time you want bacon, put the pieces in the microwave between paper towels and heat on high 10 seconds for each piece.

Clean your lettuce when you bring it home from the grocery, no matter what the kind, and tear up into salad sized pieces. Store in a gallon size zip lock bag or a large bowl with an air tight lid. Be sure to put a paper towel in the bottom of the bag or bowl. It will keep your lettuce fresh longer and be quick and ready to use.
