  Welcome to flexibility training!

Flexibility training is not the same thing as stretching before and after a workout. A well balanced exercise program includes strength training, aerobic training, AND flexibility training.

Flexibility is the range of motion of a specific joint and its corresponding muscles. To improve flexibility you’ll need to stretch at least 3 times per week: Every day is better. The good news is, an effective stretching program feels good and adds relaxation to your day. Trust me. The difference between the way your feel before and after a nice stretch is akin to the difference in the way you feel before and after a refreshing dip in the pool. It feels fabulous.

Benefits of Stretching

  • Stretching eases stress by relaxing tight, tense muscles.

  • Flexible muscles allow for good posture by keeping tight muscles from pulling you out of alignment.

  • Joints with good range of motion are less prone to injury.

  • Increased flexibility improves your quality of life.
