Hello and welcome to our site. We want to thank you for visiting us and hope you will browse around and see for yourself what we are so excited about here at crazedMOMS.com. We believe you will be excited too once you discover all we have to offer.
crazedMOMS.com was founded in Nov 2003 in response to Jessica's increasing concern about women's changing roles in our society. We'd like you to meet her, the woman behind crazedMOMS.com: visionary, founder and CEO, Jessica Hostler de Sanchez.
"crazedMOMS.com's inspiration came after years of observing (and experiencing) a lack of balance in women's lives and a constant sense of stress. Many of the women I know live with a feeling of failure in every one of our roles as women. I wanted to do something to help women feel valuable.
I thought...helpful hints for a crazed mom. "Wow...what a concept." There are 1000s of tools that women could use to manage their days (something that most women I know are unable to do). Tools that will help them remain focused on their priorities, and not let themselves become overwhelmed by any one of their roles. Career, homemaker, wife, mother, friend, we can accomplish them all, but if we want quality, we have to find balance.
I thought about the women I know, women who sacrifice their own fitness and health while juggling their schedules. It's the "oh well I don't have time to exercise, eat right, take time for myself" syndrome. The mindset that reduces the value of taking care for ourselves is magnified by a lack of organization and balance. Stress and busy are words that have begun to define who we are as women. We have to do something about that.
My vision is to create a tool that will guide women, encourage them, help them balance: a tool to remind us that we are not A ROLE, we are WOMEN and women are multi-dimensional. We will have seasons when we will perform more of one role than the other, but we are valuable in ALL of our roles, no matter the season." To help Jessica accomplish her vision she formed a partnership with her sister, Brandee Hostler; her mother, Sharon Green; and her aunt, Vonnie Corsini. Together, we have come up with a site that is:
Content full: Brimming with important, useful, and interesting information that is intellectually, physically and emotionally stimulating. For example, Ama's corner touches and empowers our nurturing side.
Useful: Providing information that women can really use, information that will be helpful to them in their daily lives. No one we know has time to visit a site everyday just because it is interesting...it must be useful! Helpful hints and Menus, Calendars and Reminders, Exercise and Shopping are all here for you. Plus, the 24 Hour Super Mall allows the joy of shopping without the kids.
Charitable: Giving back is important to us. To that end, we pledge to give no less than 10% of our revenue to family oriented charities such as Focus on the Family and Dr. Laura's Foundation.
